Using containers on a platform like Kubernetes has today become the mainstream choice for running applications. However when it comes to PostgreSQL, we see that most companies/organizations are hesitant to migrate their PostgreSQL clusters onto Kubernetes so they are still stuck on conventional virtual servers.
In this session, we're going to talk about how you can run PostgreSQL inside containers on a Kubernetes cluster and how it will be different than running PostgreSQL on conventional virtual servers. We're going to share our experiences with how containerized Postgres can ease your life and at the same time cause serious challenges.
